Patna/Paradeep/Chhapra to Rameshwaram/Kanyakumari/Madurai/Tirupaty

My first check-post towards my ambition has fulfilled and with elegance. It were as if yesterday, September 2013 when the idea to take my parents and relative for a tour embarked upon me. Since that day unto November of 2013 I made plans. The planning was as to where, how, when and all the other pre-planning questions that erupted in ones mind. Finally I confirmed my relatives and parents the date and sojourn of entire trip. I booked tickets in November for January travel and stay.
Time seemed to have been getting very slow since that day. Everyday was largish and biggish. But nevertheless the day came when I had to start receiving the comity of families from airport and station. My house full of laughter and gaiety. Sunday, the 19th of January 2014 we boarded the Rameshwaram Express to reach the same name place. We moved to the hotel and the whole day went in doing darshans and bath. My propitious families donated in largesse. Post lunch, which we had at a decent Bhojanalaya, visited the famous Pamban Bridge! The happiness on my cousins face was worth watching.
The next morning we left Rameshwaram for Kaniyakumari. We reached the latter and directly went onto visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Tiruvalluvar statue. It was 'Pax'-'Eureka' moment for us. Returning from there we had a heavy lunch and later we took some rest at Hotel TamilNadu. In the evening we visited the Bagavathi Amman Temple. I liked the concept of worship in this temple where the men had to remove the clothes from upper part of their body. Later the families did shopping in bonhomie. We also had a beach ride on special grade vehicle.
The next day we saw the famous sunrise from the view tower at Kaniyakumari. The sun glistening in the sea waters made it swanky. Post that we left for Madurai on the same Force Traveler I had booked from Rameshwaram. The environment inside the vehicle was filled with fun and jocose. On the way we had a beautiful breakfast at a highway hotel. Some 40kms before Madurai one of the four tyres got punctured. We got down and enjoyed the idleness of the highway and this gave one more memorable point to our journey. On reaching Madurai, we visited Tirupurakundram Temple, then my Aunt's house, and later at 4pm the famous Meenakshi Amman Temple. This temple is opulent and the architecture simply splendid. We loved it as all would have had. Thereafter we saw the Thirumalai Nayak Palace and Lake. With this our South of South India Tour came to and end as we boarded the Pandian express to return Chennai. The journey to sum up was full of excitement, energy and memorable.
On 24th of January we all visited Tirupaty, the holy shrine in Andhra Pradesh. This was liked by all and they wished they could stay there for another night. The darshan happened quickly and easily. The laddus, haha, were high on demands. We prayed with piety to Sri Venkateswara and Padmavathy Devi to cure all our illness and remove the problems. If not, provide the strengths to bear the same.
Everything has to come to an end. So has had our journey. I thank god for blessing me and us to finish this trip with finesse. With tears in eyes I kowtowed all and returned home sinking back again in my loneliness.
