Celebrating Teachers Day!

Teachers are those who mold the lives that they influence.

It is the birthday [5 September 1888 ],of the second President of India, academic philosopher -
Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan
It is a "celebration" day, where teachers and students report to school as usual but the usual activities and classes are replaced by activities of celebration, thanks and remembrance.
In India we(students) celebrate Teacher’s Day by posing as teachers for a day.
It is a fun-filled activity, which is enjoyed by both the acting teachers ,the students & the class teachers.

On this day, students bring gifts for their most admired teachers as well.~!!

It is an equally special day for teachers, as they get to know how much they are liked and appreciated by their students.

Gifts to teachers
include flowers,

greeting cards
and other items.

Some students
also write poems
and messages for
teachers. Teachers,

on this day, are
reminded of their
school days and
feel nostalgic.
All in all, it is celebration mode for everyone!!

Not just a gift for learning but also a heart that deeply cares,

My Teachers add a lot of love
To everything they share,

I may not say it always.

I may not have said this before.

But, I mean it whenever I say it:

Thank You Teacher,

For all the things you have done for me.
Thanks for Lighting the lamp of knowledge within me.  -Ravi

"The dream begins with a teacher who believes in you, who tugs and pushes and leads you to the next plateau, sometimes poking you with a sharp stick called "truth."
