Organizations today look for people with great soft skills and this in today's scenario is a must go for achieving success at individual level. What I mean success does also include to evade being terminated from the organization. So what are the qualities of humble person? How does one become a humble leader?
Here is the 8.point summary of humility:
Self-Knowledge is the first and foremost expression of humility.
Humble people constantly evaluate themselves and realize that they are not infallible.
They do not take credit for all of their strengths and achievements. Instead they value and appreciate the help they receive from others.
A sense of transcendence i.e. the tendency to act according to an ambitious deal lies within them. They can hone themselves up to the higher level.
They neither seek praise nor feel hurt by criticism.
Humble leaders tend to avoid comparing their qualities, merits, knowledge, and achievements with those of others.
Additionally, generosity, respect, and a spirit of service is associated with humility.
Lastly, they are never envious of the successes and qualities of others.
I constantly retrospect and keep learning myself. I know I am terribly imperfect, and I am reminded of it everyday, which allows me plenty of room for growth. For whatever I do I understand that the greatest of happiness lies in helping others.
